Questions

What can I log for a pet?

Feeds, walks, medicine, weight in kg or lb, potty breaks and notes.

How do I share the log with a pet sitter?

Send the secret link to the sitter. The sitter opens it on a phone and taps the buttons. You see the entries on your phone. Delete the log when the trip ends if you want.

How do I log a walk?

Tap Walk when you leave. The button then says End walk. Tap it when you are back.

Can I log more than one pet?

Yes. Make one log for each pet. The home page lists the logs saved on your phone.

Do I need an account?

No. You make a log and get a secret link. Send the link to the other caregivers. They open it and they can add entries. Nobody signs up.

Does it work with no network?

Yes. Each tap saves on your phone first. The phone sends the entry to the server when it is online again. Open the log once while you are online. After that, the open page keeps working with no network.

Who can see my log?

Anyone who has the secret link can see the log and change it. Send the link only to people you trust. Search engines do not list log pages. Read more about privacy.

How long does the server keep my log?

The server deletes a log when it gets no new entry or change for 365 days. You can delete the log for everyone sooner, in the settings of the log.

Is Care Log a tool for health advice?

No. Care Log is a simple notebook. It shows what you wrote. It gives no advice and no growth charts. Ask a doctor, a nurse or a vet when you have a question about health.
